Dandelion-Poppyseed Soap

Dandelion-Poppyseed Soap is a seasonal specialty, and in very limited quantity, so get it while the getting is good. This bar is gentle, yet mighty, with both its nourishing and exfoliating benefits. Olive oil is infused over a month's time with locally picked, non-sprayed dandelions before the soapmaking process even begins. Dandelion flowers are known to be fabulous for treating rough, dry skin, so infusing them with skin-softening olive oil makes for ultimate skin restoration. The added poppyseeds allow for light, but effective, scrubbing ability. The lard in this bar lends saturated fats that will greatly benefit your skin and leave it feeling moisturized. Sunflower oil is good for your skin thanks to its linoleic acid and vitamin E content, and is known to help keep skin moisturized and possibly fight acne and brighten your complexion. Any color in the soap comes naturally from its ingredients. Dandelion-Poppyseed soap is palm oil free.

SCENT
This bar's subtle, relaxing, citrus-herb scent comes from the added lemongrass essential oil.

INGREDIENTS (in order of weight)
Dandelion-infused pure olive oil, distilled water, organic coconut oil, sodium hydroxide, lard, sunflower oil, lemongrass essential oil, sodium lactate, poppy seeds, rosemary antioxidants.

MAKE YOUR SOAP LAST LONGER
Keep your bar of soap dry in between uses by placing it on a soap dish that properly drains (not directly on the tile or in a non-draining dish!). This is not a requirement to be able to enjoy your soap, but it will help to extend its life.
